Fosamax And Dental Implants Fosamax/dental?

Fosamax/dental? - fosamax and dental implants

How long Fosamax remain in the system of the body? Is a need for dental treatment, and I would avoid taking the advance in the hope of osteonecrosis of the jaw.

The problem with Fosamax and other bisphosphonates is that they stay in your body a little bit .. About 2 years ..

What you can do is to leave for 3 months, then the chances are of osteonecrosis is reduced, but never 0

But only a few cases with Fosamax. His often leads to osteonecrosis with bisphosphonates intravenously.

Hope that helps.

Fosamax is deposited and stored in the bone and remain in the body for a few years. In general, the osteonecrosis occurs only when the teeth are removed, because the bone is exposed. However, the actual probability of osteonecrosis is relatively small, less than 1%.
