Catheter Syringe Other Ways Of Collecting A Urine Specimen From A Cat?

Other ways of collecting a urine specimen from a cat? - catheter syringe

Sammie next litter, Sat, and effort, and so we went to the vet. Vet could not urine sample with the probe, since the bladder is empty (after an accident in his company did). It was a different show other symptoms, so the vet told me to wait until Sunday evening, bringing to collect a sample at home, to early Monday morning. She suggested that either cover completely free of litter and we hope that Sammie urinate in the empty box (which was for my other cat once), or in the wastebasket with a plastic bag and use a syringe, the collection of plastic. Sammie I am in the bathroom with the litter, it's not working. Instead, she pees on the carpet in front of the box.

I do not know why the vet me some of the insensitive, non-absorbent, has set the wrong things litter in the litter, whether or not they something to dig
Any other suggestions?

In the animal hospital where I work, we have pockets of crystals, or small plastic balls in a craft store. The bills are the same size pieces of litter.

It is cheap ... $ 2.98 for a bag with 8-ounce is only used just enough to cover the bottom of the sand bed.

Be sure to use a new litter pan clean sample to be contaminated. A plastic bowl works well, but the use of aluminum 10 x 14 trays for baking.

If you want to use the carpet in front of the box, you have the hard plastic, as they used to protect the carpet of your car? A plastic strips should catch it if you could syringe.

I leave it blank, but put plastic on top. If you do not like the plastic-May to teach, not to use the litter tray. Not a good thing!

It's hard. Are they frequent traffic accidents. If so, maybe you could lay out and go. If she has an accident, you can use a syringe to the bottom of society. You did not use a firm with a plastic floor. Or if the ground is carpeted collect all the carpet and maybe we can go and syringe sample. Good luck tonight, I'm not jealous.
